Entrelazado – Verflochten (2025)

Mallorca, a holiday dream. An island with too many tourists and too little living space. But hidden among colorful parasols and picturesque hiking trails lies another story: one of military dictatorship and forced labor, of forgetting and silence, and of the struggle for memorial sites, all closely intertwined. Teacher Jaume Serra Cardell from Sa Pobla was shot dead in 1937 in the Illetes military fortress on Mallorca. Today, his niece is campaigning for a reckoning with this period and collecting evidence.
